The focus is on the fact that the Blues will not be signing Cristiano Ronaldo, but it goes on to reveal other parts of their rapidly evolving plans for this summer.

Of those remaining four, one is hoped to be a right wing back to back up Reece James. We’re pleased to hear that. That makes much more sense than the central defender links that have been rattling around.
