It all went quiet over the last month as Todd Boehly and his team took over, and the deal that had been worked towards by Marina Granovskaia and her team was thrown in the bin.
EXCL: Chelsea are re-working on the signing of Jules Koundé from Sevilla, with the deal being driven by Todd Boehly & co. It is a situation to keep an eye on. The main targets are Jules Koundé and Presnel Kimpembe.

But according to Nathan Gissing of this site, Todd Boehly is ready to enter talks with Sevilla once again now he has secured Kalidou Koulibay as the first part of his new look defence.
We love the idea of the versatile Kounde working with Thomas Tuchel, and we’re delighted to hear there’s a chance that this deal still happens.
The fact that Sevilla have been made to sweat will only help our chances of battering their asking price down, and the player is likely to try harder than ever for a move now he’s seen how close he is to staying put in La Liga for another year.
