Yinka Ogundaisi, the late veteran actor, has been buried in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, The PUNCH experiences.
The Village Headmaster actor, who died on Wednesday morning on the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, was buried on the night of the identical day in Ibadan.
Fellow Nollywood star and affiliate of the deceased, Ropo Ewenla, confirmed this to The PUNCH in a phone chat on Wednesday.
“He died this morning and was buried this evening,” Ewenla mentioned.
When requested if the deceased was a Muslim, the actor replied, “Well, I’m not sure but his daughter told me that they’ve moved him to Ibadan for burial. He died in LUTH this morning.”
Some experiences on-line had claimed that the deceased had suffered paralysis of his legs which resulted from problems of twisted intestines, hernia, and enlarged prostate.
Though Ewenla couldn’t confirm the sickness Ogundaisi suffered earlier than his loss of life, the actor confirmed that the deceased had been bedridden for years.
When requested about Ogundaisi’s well being battles, Ewenla mentioned, “Yes he has. I’m not sure I know the proper diagnosis. He has been bedridden for years now. I don’t know the proper diagnosis. I’m not a medical doctor.”
