Baxter, who has one year left on his contract, has climbed up the leagues after his time in the youth team, and after a year of League One football and a year of Championship football, the goalkeeper has returned to Hull where he was outstanding last year in 18 games for the Tigers.
We are delighted to announce the return of goalkeeper Nathan Baxter on a season-long loan from Chelsea, with an option to buy!
Welcome back, @NathanBaxterGK!

We don’t know what fee is set in the option to buy, but all being well this season it’s hard to not see Hull wanting to keep the 23 year old. He kept 7 clean sheets in 16 Championship appearances, with a league-high save percentage.
After coming through the youth academy at Stamford Bridge, it looks like he will leave the club without having played a game for the Blues – but we’ll always keep an eye on how he’s getting on.
Good luck, Nathan!
