“Ongoing” talks with AC Milan over another sale look promising for all parties

AC Milan still want Hakim Ziyech, Fabrizio Romano reported tonight.

It always feels like he might have better contacts with Milan than most other clubs, and tonight the transfer guru gave a small sign of encouragement that there’s still progress in the winger’s move to Serie A.

Chelsea are trying to make up for lost time and clear some of these unwanted players from their books as fast as possible, and a loan or permanent deal are both feasibly on the table for Ziyech.

Milan seem interested, and most importantly, the “player want to join”.

It will come down to the fee of course, but as long as Chelsea are keen to shed some of these wages, they’re unlikely to drive too high a bargain. The two clubs have good recent history in the Olivier Giroud and Fikayo Tomori deals that served the Serie A club magnificently in their title win this season.
