Germany and Portugal will battle it out in Munich in a Group F fixture in what will be the fifth meeting between them at the UEFA European Championship.
Portugal are in great shape going into their second game of the tournament as Nuno Mendes is the only one carrying a slight thigh injury which forced him to train alone on Thursday.
Germany’s Matthias Ginter was forced off during the opening game against France but there is no doubt that the defender will retain his starting position as the injury did not appear to be a serious one.
Cristiano Ronaldo has never scored against Germany in four games, despite attempting 23 shots in 360 minutes of action.
Portugal are looking to become only the second reigning champions of the European Championships to win their first two matches of the tournament after Spain at Euro 2016.
Portugal XI (4-2-3-1): Patricio, Semedo, Pepe, Dias, Guerreiro, Sanches, Pereira, Silva, Fernandes, Jota, Ronaldo
Germany XI (3-4-3): Neuer, Can, Hummels, Ruediger, Kimmich, Goretzka, Kroos, Gosens, Sane, Mueller, Werner
