They’ve attempted to sign Raphinha from Barcelona, but he looks intent on joining Barcelona. Ousmane Dembele has consistently been mentioned as a potential target, and other names have also been coming up in the conversations.

There is another name who could come into the equation, according to transfer insider Dean Jones from Give Me Sport.
Jones believes that if Chelsea cannot sign Dembele this window, then Rafael Leao of AC Milan could come into the equation, as cited by Chelsea HQ below.
“If #Chelsea do need a back-up option [to Ousmane Dembele], then look out for Rafael Leao at AC Milan. He’s on the verge, I’d say, of being a superstar.”

Leao certainly looks like the real deal, but I’m not sure how gettable he would be during this transfer window at least. He’s certainly one to keep an eye on though, as Jones says here.
