(Video): Azpilicueta explains his gesture to angry fan

The defeat to Arsenal last week had a real bad vibe to it, summed up perfectly by the way that Cesar Azpilicueta had a confrontation with a fan as he walked off the pitch.

It’s rare to see our measured captain get flustered, so you knew something was really wrong.

He spoke about it in an interview with Sky Sports today, and he pointed out that it all looked worse than it was, and that he had made up with the fan in question later by giving him his captain’s armband.
