Just when you thought US football fans couldn’t get more cringe, they come up with the nickname “Gaga” Slonina for Chelsea target Gabriel (Slonina). Typical.

The Blues are being heavily linked with the stopper now, and predictably the ESPN pundits are going mad now that another US player is being linked to the Premier League – and to us, one of the most well supported teams in the States.

Just as Christian Pulisic seems set to leave, we might get another stars and striper in to keep the American TV network’s eyes on us.
