(Video): “It tells the story” – Why Thomas Tuchel isn’t happy about his wing backs scoring

Chelsea are continuing to struggle to score goals, and Thomas Tuchel could only focus on that in his post match interview with Chelsea TV.

They said, rather positively that it had been a great cross from Reece James to Marcos Alonso to get the goal, but Tuchel had taken it another way.

“It tells the story,” he sighed, pointing out that it was once again defenders coming to the team’s rescue while the attackers drew blanks once again.

He’s got a point. It’s great to have defenders like Alonso who score a lot, but they can’t be relied on forever.
