Chelsea have had almost a week of training in the US now, and they play their first friendly tonight.

Their two new signings of the summer are already with the group, but that doesn’t mean the youngsters in the group don’t have a chance.

The well connected Matt Law explained on the London is Blue podcast that the kids like Levi Colwill and Conor Gallagher can follow in Trevoh Chalobah’s footsteps and “can surprise people” by impressing Thomas Tuchel and his staff on this tour.

Let’s hope it works out that way.
